ATTENTION all AAU Gymnastics Clubs:
Please note the following changes & revisions for the 2009-2010 competitive year…
 
  • It's Membership Renewal Time!  Most of you have probably already received email updates from AAU reminding you to renew...if not you can click here to obtain your club, coaches, and athlete memberships- http://aausports.org/JoinNow.aspx (memberships run from Sept. 1 - Aug. 31)
     
  • Updated 2009-2010 Rules & Policies (found on the RULES page on the website- http://gymnastics.ncaau.org) 
     
  • Important changes in the new R&P= meet surcharge increase ($.50 to $1.00 for invitational and $1.00 to $2.00 for State Meet); meet entry ceiling increase ($40 to $45 for invitational) 
     
  • New NC AAU Gymnastics Handbook to be revised soon!  Please continue to visit the website regularly to stay updated on revisions. (Any significant changes will be emailed out immediately.)
     
  • NAWGJ judges hourly rates increased as of 7/13/09.  Please go to www.nawgj.org for more info or click here to view the new pay scale- http://nawgj.org/Updated2009FeeSchedule1.pdf
     
  • Compulsory gymnasts will have THE OPTION to use the old or new compulsory floor music this year.  Coaches MUST report to the music table prior to the first timed warm-up event to indicate which version of the compulsory floor music their athletes will be using.  It will never be assumed which version of the music you will be using.  Meet directors MUST provide BOTH sets of music to accommodate all gymnasts.  To obtain a CD with both sets of music- please contact me.
     
  • New website URL: www.gymnastics.ncaau.org (however, typing in the current website address- www.ncaaugymnastics.org will still direct you to the same website)
     
  • MEET FLYERS need to be emailed to me ASAP so they can be linked to your meet on the website.  This is the only source that visiting clubs will use to know who and where to make meet entry payments to so it is important that they are provided for ALL meets.
